St. Patrick's Day

Breakfast:

Late breakfast with a friend.  At a diner.  Not usually the most gluten free friendly of places.  Ordered two sides, bacon and fruit, and a green tea.

Walked dogs.  Had a green tea gingerale.  Late night last night caught up with me.  Crashed for the afternoon.

Dinner:

Should have had corned beef and cabbage but every year it seems such a bother to find a corned beef and I didn't feel like arguing with my fussy kids so I had this:

The rest of my family ate pasta, which I suspect was undercooked because I used to test doneness by tasting and can't do that anymore.

It turned out lovely, like this:

I don't know if the parmesan, hot pepper flakes and olive oil I drizzled all over it was really authentic, but it was damn fine.  I made sure the sausages were gluten free, and at the time of this writing, some five hours later, I'm still feeling fine.

Also had a cappuccino-flavoured soy milk and a dark chocolate flavoured almond milk and a grapefruit for snacks.
